Amazon reckons the US address's street name or number appears to be invalid: 182-21 150th Avenue

Any advice?

I have ordered from Amazon to that address no problem. This is how it's saved

So I guess it's as simple as removing the dash. Thanks!
Another way of doing things is to add the Springfield Gardens address to eBay. The eBay auto-address filler immediately "auto-corrects" the address.
This auto-corrected address Amazon has no problem with.

Good for you. I am in daily contact with AGS but think that customs have lost my parcel.

Why blame customs for Aramex incompetence? How would customs lose your parcel, they dont even get to see it? The only people that could lose your parcel is Aramex themselves and more than likely its just misplaced in a bag somewhere - they have a small warehouse at the airport and its gets chaos there sometimes when bags get offloaded from the airlines.

The list doesn't specifically mention an Echo speaker, but a radio and a DVD player are both 7% + Vat, so I think your bluetooth speaker might be the same.

Your kindle is a grey area. If the customs people deem it capable of cellular communication they will charge 7% + Vat. If they decide it is not cellular, it falls under computer equipment and you will not be charged duty.

I imported a 10 inch tablet and was not charged duty, but I think I was fortunate.

Just bought a Google Home Mini on eBay.
Sold by Google, reduced by 40% from $49 to $29, and I get a $10 eBay gift card.
This is a USA only deal. I like being American.

I believe the Amazon Echo Dot is also $29 at the moment, but as I have everything Samsung, it makes sense to get the Google assistant and not Alexa.
Same. I see they are however pretty much all sold out at the moment. Ebay also not accepting my US address update via the app. Guess it's a sign :)

Wow, when I ordered there were plenty available. Keep an eye on the links though, as this is Google and they like making money. I bet they will find more Home Mini's from somewhere.

So you are allowed to import stuff with batteries (like phones/tablets) from US? Because I emailed them once and they were like "
no"

Not had a problem with bluetooth speakers. Imported an iPhone from the UK last year as well. Got stolen this side 2 months later, but that's another story.
