Yes. For F1, MotoGP and SBK only. Investigating streaming options for these.

F1 has F1 TV Pro, but not in ZA (and while you can get as far as trying to pay with a VPN, they won't accept your stinking ZA card...)

My wife insists. ( and spends more time with Kindle & streaming than on DSTV )

sadly yes, premium, not by choice, I don't even have a decoder, just paying for mom.

Only for my Wife's soapies and sports like rugby cricket and motor sport

Yep. Premium. And that's just for the Sport. As soon as a find a viable alternative I'm giving DSTV the boot. Already streaming most of the documentaries, series and movies.

I enjoy the DSTV bouquet, but the axing of premium, quality channels means we will now look at Netflix etc to see whether we can access History and other channels no longer offered.

Does 'Easyview' count as being a DSTV subscriber? I have that because the reception is more reliable than with an analogue antenna - and because one of these days :cautious: they might eventually switch off the terrestrial signals.

I use it only to watch eTV and eTV extra. Otherwise it's Netflix all the way.

You can access every channel DSTV axed from streaming, somewhere.
Plus get a lot more.

Are you a DStv subscriber? Is yes, what is convincing you to stay with DStv instead of just using streaming services?

Yes

I live in Chantelle, Akasia, Pretoria.

Due to multiple cable thefts we no longer have ADSL. Telkom installed their LTE router and phone but after 3 months of no internet I gave up.
No Fibre in the entire area.
The 2 story house opposite my house blocks signals from i.e. Level 7

Use Vodacom LTE connection and although the speed is good (current 29Mbps average around 15Mbps) it is to expensive to stream on a regular basis. I use 60Gig anytime data per month as it is.

Do not really care about the sport on DSTV.
