i need new
cpu (intel quad something, thought 2.83 was nice deal. 775)
mb (not sure which one)
psu (700w-ish i think? need to drive 2x hdd, 1x cd, 1x gpu)
gpu (nv 260 or 275)
it got
ram, case, key+ms, lcd and so on.
...go and have look at the vantecs
Why go with 775 when it's being discontinued?
And why go with a 260 when the 5770 is the same price about and you get dx11?
because nv is my preference and 260 is fine for now till the 300 comes. in essence dx11 is not going o help too much now in adobe, maya, 3dsmax and cinemark(wtf) is it now
if i go the i5/i7 route i must also now spent about 1.2k on ram. same with god forbid using am3.
i'm not looking for a demon, rather midway and for that the 2.83 quad would be enough.
You do know AM3 chips work in AM2+ boards with ddr2 right? You don't have to use ddr3.
i dont care if amd can summon satan for me
point is intel and nvidia is my preference- is that hard to understand ?
going to go with ASUS P5Q + msi 260 oc + 600w Vantec or related corsair + Q9550
LOL he should understand it he feels the same way about amd.
going to go with ASUS P5Q + msi 260 oc + 600w Vantec or related corsair + Q9550
Good choice - oh you're getting the MSI OC - you won't regret that one. Make sure it's the twin frozr. Of course mine cost me r1100 but whuteva![]()
Corsair.
