Army 'needs more white people'

I would still defend a country which has laws against me, but the fact is, they are kicking out white people left right and center, but they want to fill the army with them?

Double standards if you ask me. White is the "supposed" minority, if they only knew ;)
 
These guys should really make up their minds:

1990's: We dont want white people
2007: We want white people
 
There are unfortunately only "junior" positions available.

But it's not the worst way to make a living, if I was 18, I'd give it a thought.

I think what the SANDF wants is transformation, there too many black people in the army. If anyone wants to join the army, by all means let him. If you are not interested then that's still fine...this is so easy!
 
Sadly the armoured formations of the SA army is in a poor condition..

Might have been interested - think I will give the SANDF a pass :D

And right there is the kicker, everybody in government wants "transformation" but they normally just f@ck it up.

This is a story that been repeating itself over and over again.

Just leave the army like it is, I'm sure the army is being run very well with less white people in it, in fact they should ban white's from the army altogether, it'll make for less racial tension.

Any matriculant accepting a junior position at the AIDS club is clearly not a "top matriculant".

I think you would really have to be bossies to join the sandf, if you werent when you joined it you sure will be after a year. Sorry, did my bit, still suffering the consequences, not interested, take your army in the hoegvoor and gaan raak die draad!

Company has too many whites, they get pulled to court.
Company has too many blacks... no-one gets into trouble.
 
Lack of staff is not an indication of lack of skill. The men who operate those submarines are highly skilled and professional.

As for recruitment even the US army struggles to recruit sufficient staff.

Something the armed forces simply fail to take into account is that they take over your life and not many people are willing to do that, particularly not if they can receive better from the private sector. They need to offer something more to get people to join.
 
The Afrikaans ad, written by the SANDF, will start like this: "Aids-stekende loopbaan geleentheid ..."
