Until there is laws prohibiting companies from making use of white people alone in advertising material, there is nothing wrong with any company asking to have white people in their marketing material.

In the e-mail the ATKV staffer reportedly asked that a black bride shown on the brochure for the Klein-Kariba holiday resort in Waterberg be removed because black couples "marry differently, want to party outside resort rules and at best come here to take photos at the dam".

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. That is their statistics, that is what a specific group of people is doing there, so focus their marketing campaign on another group that will bring in more money.

What about them?That is discrimination, but they prob have very valid reasons.Claiming that all black people trash wedding venues is not a valid reason, outright racism.

Claiming all bikers and students do it is not the same?

Nobody said they trash the place they said they don't like the rules.
I have been to one of these places, you are not allowed to drink at the pool and near the dams, you are not allowed to make fires out of designated areas and the bar closes at 11.
Now most weddings I have attended that is late, But my black friend's wedding went on till the next day. And some places just don't allow for that.

Just to add, the KNP had the same issue last year this time. Remember? People ran to the media about they were not allowed to bring in or buy alcohol because they were day visitors? they also screamed racism and said the whites wanted to keep the park for themselves. The KNP just stood by the view that if you don't like the rules don't come.

yes it is different from this stupid women making it a race thing. Since I'm sure there is white people that also go to see the place and decide we rather not go there because of the rules.

You're right Mila. When white people get married the party stops at midnight, there is never drinking by the dam or anywhere else.
So civilized. The natives could learn a thing or two about respecting rules from white people.

I was saying most white people have funerals for weddings. Stiff and everybody just wants to go home by 9.

Not one of the last 4/5 weddings I've been to was like that.

The person was racist, it's as simple as that. All this bleating about business decisions or marketing is irrelevant. It's about the blanket statement about an entire racial group.
