Jacaranda 94.2 received a letter from Darren Scott summarily terminating his contract with the station, as presenter of the breakfast show with immediate effect.

Darren was involved in an incident at the weekend that the station cannot condone. An allegation that he used a racial slur was taken very seriously indeed.

Jacaranda 94.2 and it's shareholders are committed to upholding the rights of the individuals who work for and with the station, upholding the Constitution of South Africa, and behaving as a constructive and responsible corporate citizen.
