No you didnt. Reread it again. I was speaking about languages in that sentence, not nationalities. I speak English, so my original statement holds true. Hence me using terms like "afrikaans" and not "afrikaners"

Edit, Me rereading that post did point out an error I had made in the stats. So I have corrected it.

But why is "boer" derogatory.

I don't mind being called one, even if I'm not a farmer.

The only offense that is connected to that word exists only in the some people's minds.

Boer is the new word for Kaff!r didn't you know.

Call me a Boer then if you want. I am proud to have been born in my country, just like generations of my family before me. I am proud to be white, I am proud to be Afrikaans, and I am proud to be South African, even though my heart breaks constantly because of the path we are being lead down on.
