I doubt they will care...and you think the other taxi drivers are going to be OK with that?

I doubt they will care...
If the public wants freeways then it has to pay for them, Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele said on Thursday. "If there is an outcry and people say they won't pay tolls, then we can't put the freeway in," he said at a press conference in Cape Town on Thursday. "Freeways are not free."
Agreed, the mandate on fuel tax has always been to provide funds to keep transport routes in a good state of repair, and even to improve them.
This F grade baffoon is barking up the wrong tree if he thinks that intelligent people are going to fall for this.
By that same logic, any road upgraded or just properly maintained should be tolled. You fscking moron...
That's exactly what they want!
Ndebele said the "user-pay principle" was accepted throughout the world, but in South Africa people were willingly prepared to pay only in the telecommunications sector.
How do we know that the authority that hands out the taxi registrations is not going to start selling those registrations under the table to all their buddies so tha they can also avoid the tolls?
Agreed, but intelligent people would not have voted for these morons in the first place.
Most of the voters are sitting in taxis that travel for free anyway. I am hoping that at least 60% of the ones left, that use their own personal car, are intelligent enough to not fall for this.
Cause some pigs are more equal than others.I don't understand how a bus/taxi can be free but a car isn't, so then Freeways are not free but only for normal people not taxis/busses cause they are special in some or other way...

Our parties, cars, woman and sushi are not free. Extra funding for the gravy is needed: Minister
We know, that is why we pay fuel levies![]()
But seriously guys, anyone know of serious efforts to co-ordinate a strike?
The best way to strike is not to use them. Lets really block up the alternate routes, which are already in such bad repair that they too will cost them more money to maintain.
