Because more than half of the drivers in this country does not even know where their petrol/diesel caps are. Not even speaking about how to check the oil and the water.

We will be lost without them, pay them more, they offer a valuable service....:whistle:

How would they work it? Put money in a machine like a parking machine and then put your petrol thing in?

Swipe your card, fill whatever you want or enter the amount you want to fill, fill up, money deducted from card.

TIA and we are the leaders in striking. We demand that we are best at striking and our wonderful unions are there for us and only have our best interests at heart.

It is best for South Africa that we strike. And the bad news is if you don't strike we will kill you even if you my bruda.

My factory they wanted more pay, 22 workers wanted 8% increase. I gave them 8% now have 21 workers:D

Exactly. And then there's still people not seeing where we are off too. I'm still saying, who forces these people to work where they work? Why not get better jobs, or even better, work better so that they can be payed more. I cant for the life of dont think, that there is still people who can not see where this government, yes our BLACK Government, and these trade unions are taking us.

I know I am a bit of a racist, but I have a lot of respect for black people who rise out of their situation. But the majority just sit and blame the rest of us for not giving them more. FFS, if you're not getting enough, make a plan yourself!


And yes, my location is still Pietersburg. Because that is still where I stay.

What an ignorant thing to say. Nearly every attendant i have talked to is looking for better employment. I have even been handed a few cvs and phone numbers to help some search.
 
If I had my way, any worker going on strike for stupid and unreasonable reasons would be fired and an unemployed person who would be greatful for the job would be hired in their place, besides is the freedom charter even in the con-stitution or is it just some crap the unions use?
 
They can make up to R240 a day excluding tips. For just filling up cars. It is not unheard for some to earn more than R8k per month as many stations are 24h with night shift and overtime.

Okay so then it is the right thing to strike then? Perfect. Tomorrow I'm going to start striking, because I dont get the sam as an attorney. Because I deserve it right?

It was a document of 'core principles' from the Congress Alliance (which the ANC led). The constitution took some of the principles (racial equality for example), but left out stuff about nationalisation and complete state control. Some dolts still haven't gotten the memo that the world has moved on since 1955, though.

Your posts are ignorant. Not everyone can just leave their jobs willy-nilly. Especially if you're more vulnerable, as a result of undereducation, for example. And inane generalisations don't help your argument.

That being said, many of the unions in this country are poisonous leeches that are working pretty damn hard at ruining their members' employment situation and the economy overall.
 
But still, certain jobs has certain pay grades. They must accept that then. They cant just strike every time they feel like it, I mean bloody hell, when will they be pleased then? I must say the big culprit here are the unions. I've seen how they can change the worker's attitude with just one meeting.
