Could afrihost compete with mobile networks selling bigger data for cheaper? given how much more affordable an adsl line is for uncapped scale...could it be that mobile could be of an equal stature?

I think it's fair to say that 18 months ago Afrihost peaked and probably had the greatest mindshare and goodwill in the SA ISP space. For various reasons this has been lost to a greater or lesser degree depending on who you speak to. The other ISPs have caught up?
What are you doing to regain that momentum and what do you see as being the new 'differentiators' in the short to medium term that will again rock the establishment?
 
Will we ever see a combined 3G and capped adsl data wallet from Afrihost similar to Telkoms Data wallet. 3G and adsl using data from one capped account.
 
Is there any possibility of competitors to Telkom forming an alliance to pool legal resources to assist in LLU and abolishing mandatory Voice Line Rental similarly to how OUTA is fighting Tax abuse?

or is it just cheaper to invest in FTTH?
 
Afrihost has grown rapidly over the last couple of years thanks to the innovative ideas and products that the company has launched. As the CEO of the company, what are the main thoughts running around in your mind to keep the company ahead of the game?

I visited your offices in Rivonia a while ago and I was interested in your mobile data. I explained to your consultant that I use a lot of data for my downloads. Your consultant persuaded me your business is not the right organisation to see to my needs?

Could you explain why would your organisation not be able to be of service to me?

What level of cooperation is there between Afrihost and Law enforcement agencies in South Africa? Based on this, how often to you guys get requests for access to customer information / hosted data etc and on which basis does Afrihost comply with such requests?

I would just like to find out if you will be doing the same upgrades as telkom is going to be doing?i.e 2mbps to 4mbps, 1mbps to 2mbps, etc
 
For how much longer will South Africans still experience data caps and throttling?

Furthermore, why is faster connectivity continually sold with a smaller cap? Several fibre options I have seen offer caps as small as 20gb, to me this is like handing someone a Ferrari and only giving them a teaspoon of fuel.
 
Do you have any skills or talents which people do not know about (juggling, competitive sport etc)?
 
What are you doing to ensure naked ADSL becomes a reality?

Is Afrihost's business model sustainable ?


Promos that are below cost in a bid to increase market share can be easily lost due to service interruptions , hence how does one win back customers when one has operational constraints and challenges ?
