Do you think S.A is ever going to achieve dirt cheap internet connection?
 
Also, what are your thoughts on the current debate regarding the thin line between privacy and national security? How do you think any country could balance this en passe?
 
With Batman,Superman,Captain America,Iron Man being heavy weight big budget characters, what package would you recommend for a low budget Deadpool type character requiring a DSL package in Durban (who does not live in an area with any plans for FTTH in the forseeable future) what package would you recommend for comfortable streaming of HD Netflix on 2-4 screens at any given time?
 
Mr Gian sir, how does Education and the internet play a role in transforming South Africa into a major player? Do you see a future where every South African household is connected, and do you believe with the right support its achievable.
 
Afrihost had the best call center by far, in fact I would even go as far as saying your team set the highest levels for service ever reached in SA. What is your plan to get back to those levels of service since your integration with MTN as it seems from my group of users/clients you still have a way to go? (I really do hope you can get there again as we need companies/teams like yours to show up the slackers in any industry.
 
What do you feel is the next "big thing" for South African Internet now that FTTH is being rolled out to quite a few neighborhoods and the pricing is reasonable.

I am a proud Afrihost customer and I really appreciate your customer focussed approach. It is important for me and the rest of your customer base to get the best value for money but in the same time it's also important that we know that Afrihost has a long term sustainable plan to grow and increase market share. How do you keep this balance - being able to give the best prices but also keep the business alive and growing?
 
From an HR perspective, you seem to attract employees who are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. What is your formula ?
 
Do you have a means by which we as customers can
report suspected or actual security incidents and get a response in
real-time ?
 
The Vorna Valley Residents Association together with Link Africa and Maboneng are bringing fiber to the home for everyone in Vorna Valley, Midrand. First fiber roll out will start in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Would Afrihost come on board and supply Vorna Valley residents FTTH via this infrastructure or stand to loose several clients to other ISP's ?
 
Do you believe Afrihost can change lives away from the internet? Are you guys actively involved in various projects to help alleviate poverty, education and unemployment?
 
Why is there no benefit of scale on your month-to-month mobile data bundles? From 2Gb upwards they all cost (about) R49/Gb.

Gian, as a long term Afrihost subscriber I have been extremely disappointed in the after sales support of your mobile voice. Is this down to inexperience or synergy between MTN and yourself?
 
Do you feel that you have achieved all that you wanted to within Afrihost? Or do you still have bigger and better plans in the pipeline?
 
What can/will/should be done about the current disconnect in responsibility between service providers such as yourselves and Telkom. To illustrate my point:

Telkom will always shift blame on a faulty line to service provider and vice versa and whilst I am contractually obligated to pay for my ADSL line and data through the service provider I have no leverage to compel telkom to fix problems on the line. Likewise service providers are completely limited in any assistance they may provide (all they can do is log a fault with telkom). Telkom has no external motivation to fix the line because I am not technically a customer and I cannot breach the contract between myself and the service provider because they merely provide the line and all technical faults must go through Telkom.

This leaves myself and many other customers (I assume) without redress to fix problems and blame is passed between the service provider and telkom leaving an irate customer without internet.

What can and should be done about this?
