Hmm. I see. That would need to drop quite a bit for me. Down to like R3000 or so, and then the EEE 7" prices can drop even more allowing more people to get their hands on one

The previously untapped market of pc-less people is huge and only now are these companies punting products in this price range.

Yeah, I am noticing that as well. And my poor EEE is already getting grubby with me carrying it around the whole time. It wouldn't even have to be an ASUS product, just something that would fir the EEE snugly. Even one of those neoprene pockets that you get for normal lappies- just smaller.
