This will be quite a wait for you then. Telkom Internet is really not that bad as most people like to believe. Enjoying unlimited downloads after midnight is awesome for me as I schedule my bigger downloads with a download manager. Just wish that TI could perhaps drop that voice line rental.

I don't expect that the other ISP's will do anything as it is not a massive difference. I have a 50gig capped account at Afrihost and I will not move for a R10 saving.

My current decision is coming down to Afrihost, WebAfrica or @lantic.

Apparently no shaping.

The daytime data is apparently shaped BUT the priority shaping is not detrimental to my needs. P2P affected and I'll use the after hours data to schedule my downloads.

They reserve the right to shape.


For me, if Afrihost wants my business they'll need to do something. 50GB is not quite enough for my needs an an upgrade to 100GB would cost nearly R400.

Been using WA capped account for 2 years and never encountered any shaping.
My experience with Axxess on the other hand has been pure k.k.Surprised they still in business.

The new prices look really bad tbh. I had an R899pm account with Crystal Web for 500GB (R1.80/GB) unshaped before changing to the uncapped account I have now with Cool Ideas.
