What's your point? I'm within the lines, whether it's in the middle or not is irrelevant...

My point is that not many authorities and property owners abide by the rules regarding the width, length and aisle widths when marking out bays.

Yes you are within your rights to park in a bay provided you stay within the lines and that is not relevant to what I am commenting on. I am saying that IF you are in the middle of the bay, THEN the parking bay is narrower than it should be according to the regulations.

His point is that the bays seem quite narrow if you're parked in the middle of the bay. No need to get defensive.

Fair enough. I'm probably not in the middle of the bay. But we can judge the width of a bay from where the Citroen and Merc is parked though...

Haha, good on that Soho driver. Would love to have seen the reaction of the VW driver when he/she got back :D

Five cars in a row, all parked rather badly, in bays that are wide enough to park properly. A set up?

To be honest most cars in that parking lot was parked badly. I ended up parking on the far end and walking to the shops. That's at the Checkers in Kuilsriver, close to Zevenwacht. Was in a hurry so only took the one pic.

But they are in the shade! What is your problem?

That's a ballsy thing to do in Stellenbosch, I once parked on a yellow line, just ran into the shop, came back to a R500 ticket not even 5 minutes later. The traffic cops are all over the parkings over here.

Ja know where it is. The cars parked in disabled parking, did you by any chance see if they displayed the permits required?
