Bad SINR?

Hi,

I've been using my telkom LTE router without any real issues (bar the dns issue earlier this year in the Durban Area).

However as of the last 2 days my SINR seems to be really bad if I understand what I've read. And I have really bad rubber banding in online games and slow response times from websites.

Currently my SINR is 10 but has been fluctuating between 12 and 8.

I've been using the 2400mhz band for a few months now, forcing it through the toolbox app.

Any suggestions? Is it perhaps the tower? I'm using an aerial in MiMO and my RSRP is at a constant -86dBm

First problem is that telkom uses 2300mhz not 2400..

Second.. Telkom network is really f'ed up at the moment all around the country. Not sure what's going on.. But I have seen a lot of fibre being layed in a lot of areas. So they could be routing through different routes causing congestion.

Thirdly is that ur tower has become congested with more users or tower has a fault. Notify telkom that ur speeds have dropped drastically.

Fourth I read in another thread is that telkom have put in trial. U have to contact support for more info.

Fifth.. Just responsition the aerial.
