Baldur's Gate 3

It's weird though, there's not actually that much to spend money on so you just end up rich with nothing to buy.
I'm constantly broke but I hoard armor in pretty much every game. My chest at camp is full of armor I'll never use. I don't know why.

And lots and lots of dyes. Can't ever have too much dye. Gotta make sure everything matches :)

Oh and Scratch is safe and sound at camp. Good to know he can't be killed :p

Can the owlbear cub actually do anything btw?

Depends how you play I guess

Weapons, armour, scrolls, potions, clothes, dyes, food - Even your own personal room at one of the Taverns in act 3

Then there are miscellaneous things like Getting a statue made in your image or a portrait - You can also spend money on booze or Ladies of the night

There is a carnival in act three where you can spend money

Lots of dialogue options cost money to succeed

Bribing guards if they catch you doing something illegal

There is actually lots to spend money on

Spoiler:

All your allies join you at the last bossfight
That's the only time he does anything? Because doesn't look like I can summon him etc like with Scratch.

I have so many spells, potions and elixirs that buying another one would just be greedy. Been to the circus, some things but nothing major.

Any guard who wants to be bribed also wants to be killed, and that's free so....

pffft inclusivity gate 3... move over it is almost time for Warhammer rouge trader. Just redeemed my keys from peordering on owlcat's site.

Just realized something silly yesterday...

This is the only game I know of where money/gold actually weighs something. Not much though because 10 gold weighs 0.01
That's funny - I just realised it yesterday myself!

FINALLY got Halsin to join my party. Geez.

  • 1.3 million players have completed the game (which is honestly astonishing considering its overall length)
  • A whopping 94% of players created a custom character instead of playing as one of the game's premade cast
  • Of the small percentage of players who actually chose to play as a premade character, Gale is most popular, followed by Astarion, Karlach, Shadowheart, Wyll, and Lae'zel in that order
  • A combined 8,196 years have been spent in the character creator (picking a class is hard, picking a hairstyle is harder)
  • Paladin is the most popular class, followed by sorcerer, fighter, rogue, barbarian, warlock, wizard, bard, druid, monk, ranger, and cleric, in that order
  • Elf is the most popular race, followed by human, half-elf, tiefling, drow, dragonborn, half-orc, githyanki, dwarf, gnome, and halfling, in that order
  • Shadowheart is the most popular romantic interest with 51% of players reaching the end of her romance arc, followed by Karlach and then Lae'zel
  • When presented with the choice, 66% of players have asked Halsin to not be in his, er... bear form for that particularly popular romance scene
  • Players have spent a combined 51,662 years playing Baldur's Gate 3

When talking to a item vendor you can click the bottom of the screen to select a character and then rob the npc blind or drop fog and pick pocket them.

Then TP to closest portal return to them and sell their items back to them.

I had like 100k gold at the end of the game and only kept 20k on a character the rest was in a chest due to weight issues.
