Battlefield 4 and 8ta

Yesterday i was able to connect to all the servers that i tried, and never got kicked off between rounds. Hope the trend continues, well done guys.

Hi RichardG

We do not restrict any APN's on the network however we provide corporate APN's to business subscribers.

You have GSM or LTE? Because i still get kicked after each game
 
Hi

I am sure this is not my pc or any thing else. If i play with my Vodacom i have no issues with the game. Plug in my telkom LTE and i get kicked when the map change. Telkom Please help me!!!!! it seems every one else are not having issues any more :'(

I still have plenty of SA rooms that I am not able to connect to, especially the Mweb rooms. But I have only been playing the Metro maps recently and they seem to work fine, maybe because there is no map switching?

Telkom, can you give us feedback from the meeting on Monday regarding the ports?

Still don't understand how all the other service providers don't have any issues. Pissing me off something stupid, just the fact that this problem has been on going since last year already.....
 
Everything back to what it was. Can't stay connected to a server, kicked after each round.

Telkom please give us feedback on the meeting. The LTE contract is a premium service I am paying for and I expect it to work at least on par with other providers.

Same issue. I am using Telkom Mobile LTE and Huawei B593 LTE Router. I can play on Vodacom without any problems, soonest I switch to Telkom Mobile every time a round ends I get disconnected at the start of the next map.
Wednesday, 19/03/14, I have tried to join and to test Do Gaming Telkom server, unfortunately it ended up with the same result, got disconnected at the start of the next map. Note that every time I play I put my router in to DMZ mode to eliminate port forwarding issues.

do not put your router in DMZ, you open yourself up for a lot of pooo. for now just make sure that you exit the game when a round ends, and just rejoin again. This is a terrible way to play, but it is the only way we can play now :(

Im using the b683, Im also getting the UDP 3659 issue and cant connect to certain servers, thus only giving me a handful of servers to choose from.

Ive tried a whole bunch of tutorials and tried using port forwarding programs, but nothing works.

This and getting ping spikes is a huge is issue and is really frustrating me

I think there are only 2 routers used by telkom LTE, the LTE CPE B593 (i has it) and the b683. I tried to use a phone on 8ta and it is the same, the GSM and LTE runs on same backbone i guess.

The problem isn't with the routers. It's the whole 8ta / Telkom Mobile network.
