Battlefield 5 (2018)

Played some last night on PS4, finding servers was a bit of a pain as the ZA servers were constantly full but managed to get into about 3 games of Conquest.

The teams I got put on kept getting properly demolished though so it was more like a dying simulator but the game looks good. Didn't feel very smooth at times though and frame rate drops would happen quite regularly, this is just a beta though so they'll hopefully iron our these issues in the final release.

Finished the DL last night, so will give it a spin tonight.
There are many ZA players which have forgotten what it's like to get farmed by me...
I really hope the GRRR people show up, this cold weather makes me want to drop some teabags in their area :p

I'll probably stream it as well :D

It's got nothing to do with women and everything to do with katana wielding, prosthetic arm using, braveheart face painted British soldiers and EA's obvious intention of turning it into a cosmetic selling marketplace instead of a dedicated WW2 game.

Haven't seen any of those in multi-player yet. Don't care about single player at all. I suspect 90% of the community are also only interested in the conquest multi-player.

As with Battlefront 2, the money grabbing schemes will not feature in the Beta, but will only become apparent after official release.
It is already well known that they will be putting comical cosmetic nonsense in multiplayer.

So what value are you adding here? So you're not supporting a game cause they going to release skins that one can purchase, which gives you 0 advantage over gameplay?

Not your money they spending :)
 
I don't have any issues with cosmetic microtransactions in games, if people want to buy these things with real money then they can have at it. It doesn't change how the games plays one bit.
