Is the vehicle play improved from the beta? My biggest issue was the infantry cqb focus of the beta maps, the vehicles in those were also lumbering behemoths that I'd just kite.
 


This is a full round of BFV gameplay on the Twisted Steel Map. Still on premier access so they may be a few complimentary bugs that pop up.
Hope it gives a feeling for the game.

The upside is I am enjoying it more than I did BF1.

Some maps are more vehicle focused but the majority is infantry focused for sure.
Tanks turret rotates a bit faster but otherwise its still the same as beta. REALLY easy to kill a tank. Two Assault classes will easily run circles around tank and destroy it.
Airplanes have been buffed a bit but still nothing like BF1. I'm getting better but the most kills in a plane in a round so far is about 10 when on BF1 it would be 50+. Also don't get that much points in a plane.
Actually in most rounds the top 20 players or so are always infantry. Vehicles could def be more powerful.
 
There arent any SA servers available yet hey? (Maybe I did my filters wrong or something but have been playing on EU servers)

There are. Server browser is a bit dodgy but eventually two show up.

Ah, I left all the filters blank except for Africa and nothing showed up :/

Will try again, were they just Conquest or did they do Operations as well?

Sort by ping and they will come up but try a few times. Server browser has been a bit dodgy since bf1. Conquest only for now.

Changed my mind a bit with the planes. The bombers can do serious damage, especially if left unattended. I think the 1st person bomber view is bugged. There is now a "bomb drop zone" indicator in 3rd person view which is 100% accurate. It's still kind of hard to spot people but if you look carefully you can see muzzle flash of enemy and is easy giveaway but you need to react quick. So far I've managed a kill streak of about 25. I've unlocked all the bomber upgrade but haven't used them yet. One of them is a camera for spotting infantry which could be useful.

Also getting better with the tanks, just sticking a bit further back with them as you can't go in hot like in BF1.

Another tip, the closer you are to the conquest flag, the quicker the flag goes down/up. If you are standing on the outskirt of the flag area it goes down a lot slower.

Really enjoying the game.

Gave this a watch last night, there's also a great combat medic video from him. I'm really tempted to buy the game but it'll have to wait until after Xmas as I simply don't have the time.
 
Rather wait till EA has finished EA'ing before considering to buy.
With the way companies like EA and Activision include invasive and game altering microtransactions after launch it's safer to just wait and see.

What game altering microtransactions?
 
Game-play is really solid but there are a few things that need a lot of work. All of a sudden game freezes after every round and I need to reopen BFV and join the queue. Also there doesn't appear to be a way to save a server as a favourite.

Please stop spreading FUD

There are 2 in game currencies. Company coin is earned while playing and progressing. With company coin you can unlock weapons and upgrade weapons etc.

Battlefield currency can be purchased using real fiat. You can purchase cosmetic upgrades with this currency. Nothing else.

Hi guys, anyone been playing on Xbox and know if there are any SA servers?
Assuming previous questions about this have been for PC servers
 
BFV is sweet fun... Just damn the South African (PC) community is toxic as hell.

Play in 4 man squad, a friend of mine got down and asked the medic in our squad(Stranger) to revived him. Instead of reviving, t-bags and runs away. Good community. :)

Hahaha I never found them too toxic. No revs sure but was never bagged by a squadie. There was a clan called SAW that hogged the planes and tanks in bf1, they were toxic af. They got even saltier when I made it my mission to stop their rampages.
