Hi guys what would you say is the best unit to buy?
Any suggestions?

Just want to trim the hair to keep it need and make it stop growing wildly.
Not sure which one is best, would like a portable unit that's rechargeable
Phillips or WAHL or something else

Thanks

The philips one was the most popular one last time I saw a thread about this.

I got one for R500 or so on a daily deal.

Yip, the Philips OneBlade is rocking - just got 1 recently about 3 weeks ago, got he 1 with 4 "combs" - 1, 2, 3 & 5mm
Also good point about it - its wet/dry shaver...

So the beard is actually in good condition...

You're actually taming some other hairy beast

Ryan is a knob with steel wool for a beard or he just doesn't know how to use it..

I have had mine for over a year and have yet to change the blade..
Each blade lasts up to 4 months*
Almost R300 per replacement blade. No thanks.

Blades on my Philips rotary shaver lasts 2 years plus.

Russel Hobbs Trimmer - Loot
Been using this one for a few months now and happy with it. The comb is adjustable from 0.5mm to 10mm, it's waterproof and the blade doesn't need to be replaced.

So you think the phillips is better than the Wahl?
And which model would you recommend?
I have the Wahl and it isn't that great. In fact, nowadays I just use my snor scissors + fixed shaving blade to do the basic shaping but seeing the phillips one blade I might try that. Otherwise it is just ****it and go with a cut throat ;)

edit
I had a good chuckle: for everything else there is pritech
