Bed in a box?

Great B/F prices.

I would say - just go for it.

Comes with a 100 day trial period - simply return before 100 days for refund. Nothing to lose.

https://www.inofia.co.za/100-night-trial/

Only mattresses purchased from www.inofia.co.za will qualify for the 100 night trial.
Inofia South Africa also offers you the chance to get used to your mattress and decide if it’s the perfect fit for you.
Since it takes time to adjust to a new mattress, Inofia will let you try out the mattress for up to 100 nights and return it with a full refund if you aren’t satisfied.
T’s and C’s for the 100 Night Guarantee: The trial period for the guarantee extends to the original purchaser and proof of purchase must be provided. The guarantee will be nullified if:

  1. The product is found in an unsanitary /stained/burnt/torn or dirty condition.
  2. The product has been abused or damaged in any way.
  3. An inappropriate foundation has been used.
  4. If the product was not registered for a warranty within 14 days upon delivery.
The guarantee does not constitute or represent an insurance for the mattress that covers the purchaser in the event of damage or wear. The 100 Night Guarantee assist customers in trying out the mattress. As such, were commend that the customer uses the mattress for at least 60 days to account for natural adjustment to the mattress.
That 100 day trial is very attractive, even a good deal in a store won't offer that, low risk and a great price.

https://www.dialabed.co.za/ is doing a 25% off BF sale, and they do Cloud 9...
Cloud 9 is quite pricey, I didn't realise that:

The whole bed business is a bit crooked I noticed all the stores use different names and fabrics for basically the same model bed, so a Cloud 9 bed model will only be available at one bed retailer so you can't price match or price check, very slimy. All of the bed manufacturers seem to do this.

Unfortunately it would appear this is a scam, the mattresses look good from the outside but poor quality where it matters and the website specs don't match what you get. They don't last and they don't honour the 100 night return policy. I found numerous people mentioning that there's no way to get hold of them if you want to return, they ignore all calls/emails/website chat etc. That was international but if that's happening the US/UK you can bet it's not going to be much better here.

It's a Chinese company, I was wondering about the ever so slight Chinglish on the website :(

So I have severe back problems hence have a tempur, expensive but awesome bed. Cloud 9 and forty winks were not helping.
Recently bought vencasa for kid, cheaper version, very happy with it

Ready to break the bank on a bed as my back is already broken. Looking at the Sloom Q XL. Will set me back R11 000 and R5700 for base (excluding headboard).

That's R16 700. Eina!

What I like:
The extra length.
Foam Layers
Firmness changes.
Split mattress. Wife likes a firm mattress. I like a medium mattress.
The base is a bit more more modern compared to the ugly stuff that comes with sealy and C9.

What I don't like:
The price

You folk with the slooms still happy?

You don't have to take a base from sloom , you can get a Q XL base for around R1500 if you shop around

I would buy a base somewhere else and get a Cloud9 again.

But who cares what the base looks like, you are surely covering that up anyway.

I don't think Cloud9 comes close to price vs quality ..you getting a lot more quality for the low price you pay compared to cloud9

There’s no need for a bed to come in a box, that gimmick in and of itself says most of all.

Cloud9 also don’t expensive. You can get more for less than was quoted above.

I've checked other bases and have not found something yet that is likeable around the same price, will check locally as well. I'm going to make a headboard myself.

No, I dont cover it up. Blanket either gets tucked in or not super long.
