Cellular providers score, Telkom loses

Telkom was the only telecoms company to lose points over the past year. The company is still in fourth place, but has lost ground to the cellular providers after its 2.6% drop to 18.2%.

What bugs me more is the fact that Neotel is nowhere on this! Not even on the survey - even then they would probably be at the bottom.

So the top score was Vodacom with 50.4%. DOes that mean One in two people think they suck? 4 out of 5 think telkom suck and 98 out of 100 ppl think Virgin sucks? Guess Ill go read the article but I suspect Im not far wrong and is indicative of Telcoms in this country who dont really give a flying fart for the consumer.

n second place MTN showed the biggest gain over the last year, up from 40.4% in 2007 to 48.2% in 2008.

MTN looks set to leap-frog Vodacom next year.
