She's a friend of mine. Feel free to ask RPM to investigate on his side.

It's quite frustrating seeing biometrics getting flack because he had the lead, and now me because I do :/

All those rules DarkSpectre quoted - I follow to the tee.

Furthermore, I busted my ass coming up with and composing worthy threads and responses to existing ones.

I don't know why but I seriously doubt you would cheat to get more votes. Imho, you deserve to win this competition :)

Agreed! I had to convince someone not to create multiple accounts to vote for my thread. I'd rather win this on merit than by stealing someone else's prize that they won through hard work.

For that, I really admire you :) Wish you all the best.

I can tell you now that mr_norris is not cloning accounts. We have been discussing it in private and he insists that he will not resort to such tactics, even Xiphan and I have agreed to not do such things. He is in the lead because friends are voting for him. RPM and the MyBB can check IPs for the users voting for him.
How is this ok in general though...lol?!
Ag I give up, its all a joke.

Are you a clone of someone?

Seems strange to post your first post here and vote

Think votes should be somehow restricted to just individuals that have met a minimum number of posts. Currently its too easy to get people to register and vote. Doesnt make for fair voting.

The nominations should have been made public in the competition rules so that we understood how its going to be run. So for instance a date outlined where people had to nominate. So everyone knew in advance when to check for it. Think this wasnt thought through. Doesnt make it fair that hundreds of people entered, less than 100 people nominated posts/threads.

I think rpm and the team wanted to be as transparent as possible with the way they are doing the evaluation of the winning contribution. As usual, the guys in front will not question this but the guys bringing up the rear might. You will never please everyone. If it was done behind the scenes (which I reckon is the correct way), those that don't win will question the decision and scream transparency. Perhaps all competitions should seize and the forum members be consulted as to how competitions should be conducted and winners determined for future competitions.

This competition is almost complete. So quite complaining and bitching and let it go it's course.

I disagree. I worked hard to get where I am, and I haven't been posting for the sole purpose of winning.

Fair Enough. Im not just picking it with you. It should be done a bit more fairly. And Im sure that if your post/thread is good enough, youd still win.
Voting should just be open to those registered before the voting started and made posts on other pages. Not just register and just come straight here and vote. Im not saying it should only affect you. As I said, if your post is worthy, youd still win. Whoevers post is worthy, will win.

No offence intended.

Completely agree :)

None taken, don't worry :)

I doubt that would make a difference because it's still easy to make a clone account and use it to spam a lot of posts in the TK/similar threads to get the required number of posts.

I propose the following few additional measures along with MyGaming competition rules to discourage cheating:

1. Disable post counting mechanism in spamming threads such as Thread Killers, Mafia, 4 Word Games and etc. This should make it harder to make 'hard-to-detect' clones accounts.

2. myBB accounts that have not been used for more than a week or a month should be suspended temporarily and can be re-activated again via e-mail.

Sounds good. Looks like mr_norris will get chucked the PS4 as it stands now. (see what I did there)
