Black Friday 2025 scam tactics guide

Black Friday shoppers in South Africa should be aware of the various tactics fraudsters may use to try and steal their money.

Absa, Capitec, Discovery Bank, FNB, and Standard Bank provided details about scams to watch out for and shared advice on how shoppers can best protect themselves during the shopping event.

I bought this in September and it wasn't on special for R1169 checked today and the price has gone up to R2234. Will probably be on black friday special for R1500
