There is nothing prejudicial and discriminatory about BEE. Both those terms imply unfairness, which is hilarious because if anything, it is the other way round- white people have unfairly benefited.

That is my point, it will not because any one would know that there are no prospects for success. There reason why people are so quick to pull the race card is that it is easy and there are no consequences for false accusations.

That is incorrect. How have kids 2 generations since 1994 benefitted from Apartheid?! Discrimination is discrimination - regardless of it's political motivation. And just how have these policies worked? Greater unemployment today. The poor are getting more, not less.

That's the thing with ANC puppets. They stumble upon a term and throw it around nitpicking what aspects of the term apply and ignoring what doesn't suit.

2 generations? Kids that were born in 94 are only starting to get into the job market now. BEE was also introduced deep into our democracy. So which generations are you talking about?

The policies have work-just look at the black middle class-but more still needs to be done. The economy is doing better now than in 94. More people are employed. People have more money, started of living has increases tremendously since 94, so in that regard the policies have worked. Stop parroting the "discrimination is discrimination" line. Elevate your thinking a bit.

Racism is bad. However, I have a problem with the way people are summarily labeled as racists in this country when they've said something another party either does not understand or does not like.

I'd also like to know who will be determining who is and isn't racist and what will be construed as racist speech or actions. This can also be very subjective. What I might find to be distasteful another may find blatantly racist.

Probably will work like a sex offenders register where you first need to be convicted of the crime and then part of the punishment is being put on the register. If not then the news24 Facebook commentors will not be going overseas anytime soon

No law should ever be accepted as a "no-brainer" ; and people on mybroadband.co.za are very clever with lots and lots of brains. So we carefully consider these, and the eventualities are postulated on here. :)
