BMW Drivers = Psychopaths

its called a steering wheel, you need to hold it properly, when your driving,
not like a BMW and steer with your Knees....

Steer with your knees? I know you're trying to make a joke but it doesn't really work given your dripping hatred for decent mid sector sedans from the Germans.

Ive driven a Corolla and an Almera and even once a Merc,
was far Happier in a Asian vehicle where you logically expect to find everything and everything works, nothing falls off, and most things cost a reasonable amount of money,

if you drive an I10 you drive it like an I10 ought to be driven, slow lane, 80-100 KM/H 5th gear, you'll get there,
might need to downshift to 4th for some hills, but thats if you dont plan properly.

a BMW to me, you get in, fast lane at 150 KM/H, no need to steer, just use your knees, while your texting or doing any number of more important things.
and when it breaks, you need a new overdraft to fix anything...

So you actually weren't joking, but were just professing your total ignorance of reality again... the mind boggles.

the Mind Boggles that you think an I10 with its 1.1L engine can keep up with a BMW with 3.2L.

its simply impossible,

its like climbing into a Cessna 172 and hoping to fly to NYC at 35000FT over 8 hours...
it aint happening yo....

A study confirms what we knew all along:

New study reveals BMW drivers most likely to be “psychopaths”

A new study by Scrap Car Comparison has revealed that BMW drivers are most likely to be psychopaths, in addition to those that drive electric cars or have personalised number plates.

The research tasked 2 000 drivers of varying car makes and model to complete the ‘Psychopath Test’- a twelve-question survey that is able to define where a person falls on the psychopathy scale, and therefore how likely they are to exhibit abnormal, anti-social behaviour. Ranked on a scale of zero (no psychopathy) to 36 (psychopathy likely) the average score across all participants was 6,6.

Scoring almost double the national average, BMW drivers ranked the highest on the psychopathy scale, with an average score of 12,1 out of 36, while Audi drivers were narrowly behind, scoring 11,7. Owners of both of the German car manufacturers have long had a reputation for being temperamental out on the roads, and the findings suggest that these drivers may be more likely to exhibit psychopathic traits such as superficial charm, grandiose sense of self-worth, and a lack of remorse or guilt.

Buttercup, I never even vaguely indicated that I think an i10 can keep up with a BMW with any size engine. You are the one who is pushing that little narrative.

No, this is unacceptable...

We need the judgy in our lives for the laughs they bring to the rest of us.

My Blik-Met-Wiele will stomp all over whatever 4 wheeled skedonk he happens to be driving and I'll do it in comfort and style with my reflective shades on :D

FTFY.

Mmmmm, lycrans also love reflective shades and everyone knows how psycho they all are  ...

And they have to wear three of those. One on their face, one on their gelled up hairstyle, and one facing backwards on their neck, but they were all bought from the guy at the last traffic light.

I don't know why they like him, I haven't run a survey.
why I like him? because he tells the truth, if you believe him or not is your prerogative.
and he isn't saying anything other people haven't echoed before.

there is a good reason Toyota is almost always on top of the sales charts all the time,
and its worldwide, and even more so on the hijacked lists or used in war, its Toyota Toyota Toyota.

of course,
who doesnt like thrashing a rental, except when its a kwid....
the doors panels arent even screwed in properly..
I have not had the chance to drive one of these i would try it out just for the fun of it but I see the size of the tyres and it looks scary how thin it is

So why don't you drive a Toyota then?

Toyota sticks to the tried and tested recipe that works - other brand have reliability issues over Toyotas rate is because they are trying to change technology bring the cars into the current times and there are teething problems with being ahead of the pack.

100% correct, when you build something right the first time and stay with tried and tested things,
you get reliable and trustworthy cars,

when your BMW, and a new model comes out every 20 seconds, what do you care if the convertible on your Big Money Waster BMW sprays you in the face with hydraulic fluid every time it opens.
what do you care if the valve seals give up, and the engine blows up, what do you care if something expensive and pricey needs to be changed?

its a BMW, they Assume you can afford fix it, or you have a Toyota to drive to work when the BMW is in the shop (again)
or you buy a BMW on lease, and what do you care if it costs X to fix, its under motorplan, they will fix it, you'll wait a year, but they'll fix it...

for some people its acceptable, but for the rest of us it just isnt good enough.

so do VW and Toyota and a few others,
but the point is some things cant be one at a independent, but HAVE to be done at a BMW dealership
Bullsh!t. I make a living off BMWs and I don't work for them. Never have.

plenty of computerized parts that need programming/Configuration, hell even the keys probably,
airbag/ SRS faults,
infotainment faults,
Climate control module faults,
then engine bay, timing chain/belt
Fuel system injector
and many others even something simple like the dome light, as there is a dedicated computer, just for that.

and the list goes on and on, if it was so easy to fix, and any independent mechanic could fix it,
then why are the resale values so low? there must be a reason, what is it?

to me Mechanics especially independent mechanics will tell you, buy a Toyota or a VW and never mess around with it,
many mechanics will also love the BMW's than come in as they know they can easily make a nice profit.
Again, BS. See post above

you probably have lots of customers, as those cars need a lot of maintenance, being the White elephants that they are...
Just as any independent has with any of other brands. You've clearly chosen your hill to die on, so it's pretty pointless trying to convince you otherwise.
