Hi

Looking for someone to save my ol' lady.

Oil and water appear to have mixed... did a chemical / change color test. Car is overheating. Gasket on my radiator is also gone as a result of the overheating of the engine. Car standing for a year now. Slight jerk on acceleration with wide open throttle.

I need someone who has a passion for the e30, who is trustworthy and honest and can prioritize my baby.

Pretoria or Joburg North ideal.

Thank you for reading

What e30 is it, maybe it's better if you just sell it to me than worry about having it repaired :o

I can't help but it makes me very happy to see someone saving a proper old car rather than scraping it.

Used these guys on few occasions

Hehe, ambitious young padawan learner, you. My boy will one day inherit this car.

Roger that. Its going to require patience and a budget but its my dream car so its worth it, mate.

Literally had them drive to my pozi, pull it out the garage only to realise that they (I) did not have the fish hook to tow her. That was last year :( my heart has been bleeding since. Did they do a sterling job? You rate I give them a second-look-in?

don't sell the car, e30s are highly sort after these days

Can never sell God's Chariot my bro. To be fair, I see these two series' and the old 1 series coupés and I'm like, if only you knew what was tearing up the streets when you were a young'in ;)

e30 for life!

I parted with my 325is last year after 10 years of ownership, it was a difficult decision but it went to a better owner

but yeah, I will only ever drive an e30, or superboss

Tunetech but they're based in Bez Valley.

Otherwise go ask the bmwfanatics forum ...

You speak my language. But whyyy? iS What was the reason you let her go? I could never!

The gushesh' is iconic... type 'Bmw E30 fest 2015 aftermovie' into youtube. You will lose your stuff, bro. Its bliss from start to end.

Would love to sit in a Superboss - sigh!

Saw a 333i in the flesh in 2016. I was never ready for it.

Cheers for the advice, mate. I will most certainly do so, I trust those cats have a passion for the old brute and would wanna see her resurrected. Any personal experience with tunetech? Just read reviews on Google and they have a 3.9 out of 5 rating but the odd negative comment makes me uneasy.

Bump - Update

Evolution 2 Motorsport. Quoted me R22k to re-engineer the cylinder head ie R6k for the engineering and the rest for labour.

Pistons / cylinder rings worn; gear box needs work; radiator not holding pressure - leaking; All in all R40k incl cylinder head work.

I love the e30, but seriously - is that even worth it?

I was serious when I said I'll buy it. Have pictures?
