bonus any one ?

Just got paid for December today and...... No Bonus!!! :( For the first time in my 9 years of working this is the first time I've never had a bonus. It hurts a bit because I thought I did very well this year with regards to my work.

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't get a bonus though :D:p

Got my bonus yesterday, twice my monthly salary

I'll spend some of it, and save a majority of it.

I'm interested to know how you used your bonus. Did you do what most people do, i.e. spend it? Did you save it?
I always put about 85% on the bond... The rest we spend on stuff we need/want

Some guys I work with, use their bonus to pay off credit card debt.

we have the option of putting a % toward pension - which I do.
After tax amount, will throw most at the bond and blow the rest on...

* 1/3 to settle my dental implants bills from November.
* 1/3 paid off credit card used for buying xmas presents.
* 1/3 still available

Installed 2x aircon units, spent some on the rug rat and the missus doesn't want anything... so will pump the rest into the bond!

Got mine today - literally first one I've ever received. 200% of monthly.

And 40% raise.

Good times. :)

Saving both bonus and raise. Doing fine on pre-raise level salary so might as well.

Got mine 25th june

150% of after tax monthly wages

Spent 80% on the bond ,the rest was spent on this and that

Congrats! Good strategy - I personally give myself a rough ratio - I allow myself to increase my spending by 5-10c for each additional net dollar earned.

:) Well I'm sure there will be some subconscious spending creep...

Still..if savings ends up being vaguely on par with plan then its a win.

Got mine in June. Bonus was 64% of annual cost to company (770% of monthly) and a 12% increase.

Put half the bonus into my bond and half as a deposit for a new car :)
