so who got bonus this year apart from raises ?

...you could divulge amount or its percentage according to your normal p/m pay

-still waiting for my 2x surprises being raise and bonus, i know we are getting.... just wondering how much 0_o
 
weee its paid in; must say allot more than i thought its going to be - nice R9000.00 bonus :) (...this is now after the tax was deducted)

now to see what % raise its going to be...

Congrats!

We get 1/4rly bonuses dependent on sales in the previous 3 months.
 
I get bonuses on the completion of various projects as and when 'the boss' decides that I made an extra effort or worked long hours.

No set policy for bonuses, though.
 
No bonus for me this year as I resigned from my previous job. The bonus paid prior to that was a joke and based on the rumour mill I opted to rather leave than get another insult. However, I believe the new company is quite generous with bonuses, will have to wait and see next year though
 
Non/ not yet - I hope. Our funding has been doubled this FY as of 1st July. I was supposed to get an increment as well but it didnt happen (no one got anything) even though I was promised (word of mouth) that my contract will be reviewed in 3 months time (that was supposed to be April), one of these days I'm gonna say ADIOS MUCHACHOS!!!

Strange enough I motivated for two of my subordinates to get increments (over 50%) and it was approved!

Nope, but been getting regular increases though. They've got this system whereby you can tell them "hey, take R1000 from my salary each month, and every January give me that money that accumulated". Like saving, but you can't touch the money! :)
 
Bit to early for bonuses don't you think???? Well I know we only get them at the end of the year!!!!
 
I got 2 bonuses earlier this year from previous company...

Will miss out on this round at new company, but get 1/4ly performance bonuses...

we have something similar, you have performance bonus which is the one usually paid out in September and then also another one on your birth day which can also be worked into your salary each month instead of just getting a lump sum. Lastly a 13th cheque in December.
 
Yes I know, its an old thread.

So I was surprised to get a bonus this year because I started this job in April but I have an awesome boss so I'll be smiling on Monday.
The amount calculates to a little more than my monthly gro$$.
 
No bonus. Just a 5% increase. Started a new position this month with a meh change in salary, so doubt I'll see the annual increase that's in leu of the year's hard work.

Car allowance increase- check

13'th cheque- check

Warren Buffet for boss of the year :D
