We are working on a fully legal but very tricky way to keep our IP space "clean". However there are no guarantees and we can only do our best. There is no one at Netflix that has some magical knowledge the rest of us don't have, it is just a lot easier to protect one entry point from unwanted ingress than to hope for stealth with thousands of users using your servers as door knockers.
Netflix latest geo blocking push has had them block the complete IP space of nearly every data center / hosting provider on the Internet without exaggeration. They are blocking the IP space of backbone providers. They are doing things I never thought I would see them do.
So as I said, we will do our best and we have a plan that does not yet involve bribing netflix tech's to accidentally not see us.
We didn't develop borderless for netflix geo relocation at the end of the day, but it is what lots of our users want to access and we are keen to make our customers happy.
