Breaking Apple Addiction

Just nuke the Whatsapp addiction while you are at it.

That's after all the real problem.

At worst just drop the history and live in the here and now instead of the past.

It easier said than done, for me WA is a tool for work, I never delete any chats and have to recover my history on more than 1 occasion

Nothing wrong with WhatsApp. Works perfectly for me.

Whatsapp is a fantastic piece of software! Has literally revolutionized how I communicate with friends, family and work colleagues!!

My homescreen pretty much pays homage to Whatsapp...

So Whatsapp is still **** then.

It is a bit of an epic fail that this is still a problem, even though I personally have no need for it.

I nuke Whatsapp data on a monthly basis.
For most of us that doesn't work. WhatsApp did finally add a feature to be able to selectively delete the data on a per chat basis, Settings > Data and storage > Storage Usage > can check on a per chat/group basis. Has at least allowed me to delete photos, gifs and audio messages for groups, since I need the documents posted. Only other option would be to always star and I am too lazy to do that there and then.

Guys, guys, these smartphones are supposed to bring us together, not tear us apart.
You have never experienced the deadly silence of the family in the lounge, with everyone glued to their screens? .

Smartphones are more antisocial than TV ever was?

Well, an hour in, and I don't hate it...

Just not happy about losing my WhatsApp stuff, loads of work "stuff" but I'll live :)
