Buffalo couriers

/me heads out of the room to go shower and then go find something at the shops to braai, be back later LOL
 
Man, Buffulo using Fastway Couriers again. Now it's Friday and they don't work on weekends. At this rate it'll take longer for my parcel to travel from Jhb to Pta than it took for it to travel from China to SA.

Are there more useless couriers than Fastway?
 
Day 5, Fastway couriers still haven't delivered my parcel even though the driver and my parcel has been in Pretoria for a week and picked up by the drivers every morning. Every day they say it's scheduled to be delivered and every day it just doesn't happen. On to day 6 I guess.

Why Buffalo use them I don't know..
 
How can you know if your delivery is with Fastway?

Because I have one parcel that is cleared since 20/05 and there is no update.

They let me know. Parcel was cleared after I paid customs and I received an email from Fastway the next day

That is fastway speak for "we just didnt get around to it today" I had "failed delivery attempts" like crazy for days before they delivered. I asked the driver and he said it just means they didnt get around to it that day.

Yeah, just got another failed delivery update tonight. Oh well...
 
Any idea if their warehouse was affected by the looting? My order arrived in SA after the looting last week so I doubt it was stolen but I'm guessing if they were affected then they will stop all shipments until they do a full inventory check etc.

My last 2 orders took 7 and 12 days from being cleared at customs to delivered. My expected delivery is 18th to 28th July for this order. I definitely wont get it this week or next at this rate.

I've had two parcels come in from Amazon with Aramex last week. The process from cleared to arriving at their depot was a couple of days each time. I phoned Aramex about this (for the first one) and they told me customs take a while to release the shipments even after they have cleared. Perhaps the same here?

The line "scanned in at SA Warehouse" is still at the customs warehouse or the buffalo warehouse? I assumed it was the latter. If its the customs warehouse then I do believe its the same situation that you experienced
