Anyone here experiencing slight buzzing sound from their tv's ? Samsung in particular? Also could this damage it? I'm running a modified sine wave inverter or simulated sinewave as it says on the box.
Ok, so i did some more tests....
So i bought a Mecer 700W 1200VA inverter from bidorbuy for about 1k with shipping inclusive. I hooked up my 160ah battery up with it and fully charge it. it had the option to charge it on 10amps or 20amps.
Hooked the tv, router, amazon fire tv and surround sound system on it and it lasted 1h45 minutes until the low battery started beeping.
I then tried the tv, router and amazon fire tv alone on it and it lasted more then 3 hours. i wanted to see how long it could go, but my daughter had to go to sleep. looks like the inverter setup is better then my 2000vac ups setup which i still have.
I can get 2x Silver Calcium Lead Acid batteries. are these batteries any good?
What abouth the Delkor 1150K 102ah batteries?
Anyone have experience with these batteries new or 2nd hand.
So I bought X2 102ah calcium lead acid batteries, now I want to hook it up to my rct2000vac ups. Which cable is the best to use with it and where in cpt can I get them at a good price.
The guy I bought the batteries from said I should get those welding cables
Check at the Car Audio places in your area. I'm sure 8 gauge amp cable will be sufficient.
KOPITE what charger are you using to charge those batteries though?
So I have one of these :

All i need now is in inverter
Dude, the grand masters here on this forum are the biggest fvck ups so no need to worry if you're a newbie.Back on Topic. If you read the whole link from the All Power link you will get the picture. I have burned my bum in the past by trying to mess with crappy battery chargers. I pulled a few Cyclon's through my butt in or around 2005...Military grade stuff no less..
10 Years later, I have finally learned that a good battery is only as good as it's charger. Treat a good battery(quality) with a proper charger that can throw all the Amps it can handle...and it will be OK. Don't mess around with a system that is was never designed to charge flattened batteries anyway...flattening them is fine....how the hell are you going get them up to speed again...
I mean this. I know I am new here and all that. Many people don't trust someone with 14 posts. Like a bull****ter trying to troll...
Meh, I don't really care. Just trying to help people to avoid my mistakes. Costly very expensive mistakes. And the 10 Year learning curve.
As a new person here at MBB..I believe I have a certain ethical responsibility to try and help those that try and help themselves...I hate it to see money thrown away due to ignorance.
That's all and God Bless.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot use my lights when I plug my ups into one of the power sockets in my house. All the plugs works, but not my lights
