I personally have come to terms with the 'shaping' (MWEB uncapped) and hey, so long it's uncapped, I'm very happy, just wish they'd open the ports at 'after hours' times - say, 8 to 8 which everyone else considers 'after hours' (I've actually said this quite a few times)
But considering I get 100-200KB/s (shaping) and then my full 4MB for everything else, I'm ok... IT'S okay.

Basically, you just get used to it.

No, not yet. I suspect that may change when more people come hogging the pipe; but this is pure speculation.
