Hi,
How do I cancel Rain. I have experienced very slow connectivity on my 19/7 package for the last 2 weeks. Today I even upgraded to their 24 hour uncapped package to see if there is an improvement. But alas nothing. When will the service be cancelled, and will I be billed for this month?

Why dont you start by sorting out some of the people who asked for your help earlier this week already? I sent you a PM asking very politely if you could help me with which way I should point my antenna. Twice i asked. You just give every person the same generic response, you dont ever get back to actually helping anyone it seems. A simple request, tell me where my tower is and what bands are supported on the tower. Stop picking and choosing who you want to help, we're all paying customers!

Well I am still not winning. The issue is still persisting

We had attempted to contact you twice on Saturday and Sunday to no avail however no worries, we will continue to try and get hold of you.

We are not "picking and choosing who you want to help", there is an influx of queries on all our channels which we are attempting to ease and your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Hi. Thank you for getting back to me. On Sunday morning I received an email from Ebrahim with the requested information i wanted. I am not aware of any other attempts over the weekend to reach me though, but Ebrahim did call me this morning to make sure I received the mail. Apologies for not getting back to him sooner to let him know I received the mail. Just as a side note, with the information he provided I did manage to get a somewhat better signal and I am able to stream and download again. I appreciate your efforts.

What’s your speeds now ? And tower supports which bands ?

Knowing where the tower is helps a ton. Tower is 1800mhz band only. I'm pointed exactly in its direction now and during the day I get speeds of just under 2mb, I'm able to stream Netflix and Dstv at 480p. I havent switched to the 24 hour plan yet but I noticed just before 6pm my downloads suddenly go much faster and Netflix jumps to 1080p resolution. Not amazing speeds but much better than what I used to get, which was just under 0.5mb. Netflix streaming at Full HD after 11pm.IMG_20200420_232722.jpg

Well then you sorted for now I’m also on the 250 package and plan to keep it here ...

There are various reason that customers ar reaching out from General Enquiries to Billing to Network escalations.

Hi cyrus123

That is correct, cancellation will be effective on the 1st May. This means that you would still have connectivity till then.

In terms of your bill, due to the change to Unlimited 24/7 mid month, your bill would be pro-rata'd. You will pay a pro rata for the Unlimited Off-Peak service you had till the date it was changed to the 24/7 plan. From the effective date of your 24/7 plan till the end of the month, that is how you will be pro rata'd on the Unlimited 24/7 plan.
