I get the feeling that in this its ohk that this kid has been shot because he was out on bail for murder. is it more socially acceptable to murder someone who is out on bail for murder or does the situation imply that he is a career criminal? I would like to think that murder is murder whether its a squeaky clean prep school graduate or a youngster with existing issues with the police.

who decides whether 'he deserved it'? on facebook the one comment was 'looks like the trash got taken out'. I found that callous and disgusting. if you go out on the road and cause a serious accident and people get killed will it then be more socially acceptable to shoot you when you get out on bail?

im not saying this laaitie was innocent in this whole saga but no one deserves to shot like a dog and then it becomes more socially acceptable because he was out on bail for murder. this whole thing has been agitating me since sunday but I fear this is going to take long but this dude will probably get off. they should dust those knives for prints. maybe the accused fingerprints are on it. we will most likely never know what happened though. that's the sad part. cant anybody get the cctv footage? would be great to see that.
 
So much for this thread being a source of new info... Too much mud being slung around. Way too much effort, to sift through it all.

The article that I read stated that he was out on bail for murder. Online reporters need to get the facts before they publish and stop spreading misinformation and rumours.

I say Karma got him. If a person is going to live a life full of crime and stealing and murdering, then this is what I call justice is served.
 
methinks VernD and Demon7 should be upfront with their association with the deceased, as that would explain their nauseating myopic bias... premeditated murder... and the accused premeditated to do it in a public locale with scores of witnesses and CCTV? Is that how you would plan to murder someone (that's a thought exercise, don't take it literally)...

Quite frankly, who actually cares at the end of the day? With the exception of those who actually knew either the deceased or the accused...

I'll bet you at least one person has been shot in Bonteheuwel today. In fact, a colleague in the office next door to mine can confirm there were gunshots in Hanover Park at 06:45 this morning....

Btw, I can confirm that there was no one shot in Bonteheuwel this morning; neither in the past few days, weeks, or months.
