Btw, irrespective of his number of posts, his post lacked intelligence and was ignorant to a hilt when he insulted my hometown.

Actually, he was only charged for housebreaking and theft; his co-accused was charged with murder. This info came straight off his charge sheet. SAPS was building a case for murder against him but they hadn't charged him yet.

Misuse of 'only'.

If they were both at the scene of the murder committing a crime, then he would have been charged with that as well.

Who cares? It was the ANC so it must be with Zuma approval and yes that is one thing I agree with but unfortunately as we feared that led to a few "suspects" be killed due to indiscriminate shooting!
 
He seems to be far from the innocent that his family portrayed him as. My take on the matter is, if he was leading a life of crime and associating himself with violent criminals then people should not act surprised or mortified by the outcome. The choices that he made in life up until that point is what lead him to a violent death. People can moan all they want to that he didn't deserve to die that way, nobody does. The problem is that unlike ordinary citizens, he willingly put himself into a bad situation due to his criminal activities.

And just a bit off-topic, I happen to be from Bonteheuwel - grew up there and my mother still lives there, so I just happen to know more about what's going on there than you do. Your ignorance/bias/prejudice - pick one - is showing in your comments.

Btw, I can confirm that there was no one shot in Bonteheuwel this morning; neither in the past few days, weeks, or months.

Granted this was published in August, and I suppose there's a remote possibility that the gangs withdrew totally from the area, but then again 2 nights ago I can personally confirm that a 22 year old single gentleman from Bonteheuwel was taken into a busy hospital casualty unit with 2 gunshot wounds, sustained earlier that evening.

Either way, you've totally missed the point of what I was saying. Would you feel better if I said Tafelsig, instead of Bonteheuwel?

Do you know what myopic means? Because if you do, you must be the master of irony.

First off....
Don't assume that I have taken a side....

My comments are not biased in any way... What I say is from what has so far been established.
I have not judged the victim, that so far, indications point to him being some kind of con-man /criminal.
The accused character was never mentioned by myself because I did not want it to get in the way of me forming my opinion on what happened.. though now we have learned that he is no better than the victim... except he has already been confirmed as a criminal... (not sure why he still has a firearm though if this is true.)

Any way, Regardless of either personalities shenanigans, what transpired at the time of the fatal incident, and possibly just prior to it, is all that I am concerned with.

No sides, unlike you with your blatant agenda driven drivel.
