Carnivore diet

That is the beauty of the carnivore diet, you do not have to be hungry all the time to lose weight.

I have some interest in it as there are some people like Joe Rogan and Mikhaila Peterson who claim that ailments like autoimmune diseases disappeared completely. I am not sure I could follow it though or if it would benefit me as well.

Do it for 30 days and see how you feel.

I started with carnivore on 1st of Jan. Also gave up coffee and dairy. The coffee withdrawal headaches were pretty bad but now that those have passed I am feeling great.

I have been cooking most things in my airfryer. So much variety and do not have to think much about what to eat.

Cool. Keen to hear how it goes. What's your reason for doing it?

I was doing keto but I was not losing much weight, probably due to the amount of cream and cheese that I was consuming. I do not enjoy veg without cheese so I did some research into carnivore and I thought I would give it a try. I also suffer with fatigue and some digestion issues that I am hoping to sort out.

If you are going the carnivore diet route, then make sure you get as close to free-range products as possible.

Sorry, can't tell if you posted this as just a joke or if you actually think it makes a valid point  so at the risk of making a fool of myself by not getting the joke...

We know people don't eat like cows... So... People do still eat and digest plants, without a problem (and absorb the nutrition). Many, like the cruciferous plants are known to be extremely good for long term health in humans. I get that this is the carnivorous diet thread, I understand that some people may have autoimmune issues that make eating plants problematic, and some choose to forgo plants for other reasons, but to suggest that normal people aren't meant to eat plants at all, because our digestive system isn't like a cows, is just plain silly - absurd.

I'm sure you know that trillions of bacteria live in human intestines -- there are about ten times more bacterial cells in the average person's body than human ones. These are very effective in assisting human digestion with turning plant matter into nutrients the body can absorb.

Here, chew on this.

Now, piss off back to your vegetable thread....this is the carnivore thread... :)

I am curious though, how many of you actually live on a carnivore diet? As in eating only meat and animal organs, and nothing else?
