Cell C black tv box

Good day peeps

Today I got my cell c fibre and got a black tv box with it. I don't want to open it cause I have a telkom LIT box that's working wonderful.

What can this black tv box do?

I have someone that's interested but don't want to sell something that I know nothing about (I'm assuming this is a android tv box)

Any help would be awesome

I'm not sure what the specs are.
However, it can be either:
1. Locked down to Cell-C's apps, or
2. Open as per the Telkom LIT

You will only know if someone with such a box confirms, or if you boot it up and check.

Got my hands on one, too. The firmware on this thing is hideous, good god.

I am trying to find the firmware and flash tool to get a stock version of Android TV onto it, but a lot of the forums I have read require you to solder on the main PCB (wait, what)

Will keep looking, MyBB doesn't seem to have anyone successful in this regard. Yet.
