Cell-C SIM Swap - Which SIMs can be swapped?

Upgrade or downgrade your system. Like Vodacom they will ask you Wat were you using and they system will tell mtn you help yourself over the phone you pass or you fail but you guys you think you're smart too much buy dining your own client. If someone needs to do sim swap meaning he still needs to be your clients but you're rejecting them......

Yes, it is possible but first you will need to port your number to us then we can do a number change for you.

This is how you can port to Cell C:

1. Buy a Cell C Starter Pack

2. RICA your SIM

3. SMS your new SIM serial number to 084 767 8287

4. Two confirmation SMSs will be sent to your old SIM

5. Wait for your old SIM to lose network service and then insert your new Cell C SIM and connect

Did you request this when you signed for a contract with us?

Is it possible to do a port if you lost your sim card and you want to use those numbers for porting?
 
Guys I have a problem here.I've been trying to make a sim swipe a whole day.I went to the branch and they asked me for the last 5 numbers I called and I don't remember those numbers ,I even call them still .....Please help me out guys I need to get back to work

Hi Sihlemjaja

The security check is a mandatory part of the sim swap, which you would have to pass in order for the sim swap to be completed.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have an issue and it has to do with my surname on my Cell C simcard.

I did a sim swap two months ago, the Cell C rep on here (MM) was extremely helpful and had me sorted in no time.

My problem is when I logged onto the Cell C app my surname was incorrectly spelled- I really hate it when my name and surname are incorrectly spelled.

I went to a Cell C shop and was perturbed when they wanted to know how much I earn before correcting that error, an error on their part I might add.

I had my ID with me but they refused saying the system wants my salary to be entered before they could change the surname.

Why would Cell C want to know how much I earn on a prepaid sim? That is unacceptable cause it has nothing to do with what I came there for. I can understand if it was a contract sim as that is part of an affordability test.

I hope a Cell C rep can assist here.

How did you do it. Mine is not owing but l registered it with an old passport and now l have a new one l have a police affidavit but they don't want to help me. I also want to poet my number to another network.
 
I have lost my phone and I need to do a SIM swap in order to port my number to new network as I had no luck when going into store to block my number and then have them provide me with new SIM so I can keep my old number (SIM swapping ) a simple thing they wouldn't do as he number was still active at time. I don't see myself going back to store as number is now currently not ringing anymore but I just want a simple SIM swap please so my clients can contact me... Please assist me, I'm crying here.

What I never recharged on cell c or....even contacted anyone will I be able to do a sim swap. Because I lost my sim card the same day I purchased it and changed my WhatsApp account with that sim so I need my number to access my WhatsApp account and I've never contacted anyone or recharged?
