The really stupid thing is that tonight is one of the few times that I can actually browse over the last two weeks or so in the eveningd. And that 39 KB/sec is much faster than my actual speeds. Same goes for the ping.

Actual ping results:

Pinging games.saix.net [196.43.22.222] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 196.43.22.222: bytes=32 time=1233ms TTL=238

Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 196.43.22.222:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 3, Lost = 1 (25% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 318ms, Maximum = 1947ms, Average = 1166ms

I can't stand this and I wish I could get feedback about what the problem is and how long it will take to fix.

*edit*

I'm also getting crap speeds lately in Kempton but at work, Bryanston I get very good speeds. Oh I got the 2GB a moth special via work for R500 ;)
