My centurion d5 evo gate status light flashing red and when I set limits the gate closes but when it reaches the end the units reboots again pls help. Tried to factory reset it it got worse can't set the limits. It's saying DOS fault. What must I do? Please help

Have you checked the battery? Voltage might be too low. Had the same issue and just needed the battery swapped.

Was going to mention the same thing. My battery status would show full charge and jump down to 2 bars the moment I tried to operate the gate. Was a worn out battery!

Yip always check, replace battery if issue's persist or battery ageing.

I took battery from alarm which is fully charged showing like 13.4v
And still does the same thing

Checked all the leads are still good and well connected? Also had my battery leads making bad contact with the battery which caused havoc. Took them off, cleaned the connectors, tightened them and worked wonders. Or replace the connectors

I bought the board in feb 2019 previous board got hit by lighting in dec 2018
Gate motor was bought in 2015 but was installed only in 2017

i meant how old is the battery (the one from the alarm) even though voltage might be showing fine initially when current is pulled from it it will drop fast if it is old/under charged/damaged etc.

Alarm is about 2 years ..... Installed gate first then alarm
I put modem on battery and modem stayed on voltage didn't drop

Dos is the origin sensor isn't it?
Check the magnet and sensor.

/edit I see it's the optical sensor not the magnet....

Battery is 12v
Even bought new doss sensor
Every time gate bumps board switches off
Took board for testing today
Eveything was passed
