Hello not sure if this is covered and apologies if so. How can one check your network connection for issues besides doing a speed test ? My results of a speed test are 100% correct (100/100) but my connection seems so slow mostly nowadays. I cannot say for sure what site/sites but just in general and I want to test further before I log a call with my providers (Octotel/Webafrica).

Many thanks

Use a number of sites to speed test as quintrix mentioned above. Also change your DNS server on the router from what it is to another one - this can improve page load time in some instances. some good dns servers to use are 8.8.8.8 (google) 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare) and 9.9.9.9 (quad9).

Lastly - you need to narrow down when this happens, time of day, type of activity (streaming / gaming / downloading / general browsing) and you need to do these tests on a machine connected to your router by cable. Wifi distorts things and is highly sensitive to the placement, type and number of APs (access points) in your vicinity

Thanks guys, I tested local.

As per normal I get 97.25 average download and 48.2 upload

Then I tried this site which I just googled
I get average 6.1 Mb !!!! LOL,

I think I will do some more testing and post if anyone is interested
