Chilli sauce reviews

Public service announcement.

When making a chilli sauce using fresh reapers from the garden. Use gloves when chopping them up and don’t go to the gents after to catch a p**s. Dipping it in a glass of milk does not help to stop the burn.. :crying:

Can anyone identify this chilli?

I planted a few Jalapeno seeds I got from a friend but this tree was amongst the Jalapeno plants.

This is what the plant looks like now and has quite a bit of fruit on it.

Not store bought, had a teaspoon, it's a bit too sweet for my liking as the recipe uses apricot jam, but plenty firey. Will give some jars to neighborhood friends.

You have a recipe for a not sweet chilli sauce?

This one is quite tasty if you like garlic.

I like the Woollies sriracha but honestly prefer raw chilli snipped into or over my food nowadays. You get that amazingly pure chilli taste, and I grow my own of course.

I plucked my first few and made a sauce. Initial tong tippie toets is not very hot.

My plants didn’t do well this season, bad harvest landed buying 2Kg of fresh reapers and will be doing 500g ferments at 3/6/12 months intervals to see which is best.
