Cloning Windows XP Drive

Hi guys,

Got XP on one of my laptops and the drive is clicking (sounds like doom will arrive soon). I want to clone the drive (make some sort of image of the drive) and stick it on another pc. If i need to replace the drive i just want to restore this image onto it.

Any apps you would suggest?

I have used http://www.runtime.org/driveimage-xml.htm on the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows in the past

Download Hirens boot disk and use GHOST.

Acronis is good and it is Part of Hirens aswell.
I prefer Acronis above ghost

Cool, thanks for the input. Downloaded Hirens guide and clonezilla. Gonna try clonezilla quickly on an old machine that i dont use (going with clonezilla first, cos it finished download first). If it works will use that on my laptop, else i will try Ghost and acronis. Thanks guys.

Back up made, was very quick... Now lets see if it actually restores

I prefer Acronis above ghost

Hiren's is WAREZ as Acronis is a commercial program and not available LEGITIMATELY for FREE.

Of course, I don't mind, just pointing this out.
