One can call Barca the bullies of the transfer market. They cant even afford to pay their players salaries, but wants to buy the 'genuis' Cesc. I mean dont they already have the best midfield combination in the world?

And why is it always Barca players spouting off in the media of wanting players to join the club, its a conspiracy I tell you. Poor Cesc getting brainwashed whilst with Spain in the WC

I watched Biscuits and he didnt do much as usual. Sweinsteiger or Oezil had good games not their best, because Spain had most of the possession

Remember how everybody rated Busquets as the weak link in the team? Were you not the one who said that Spain will regret not having Senna in the team?

If Spain win the World Cup, its Busquet's defensive duties that will overshadow Senna'a efforts at the Euro's.

It would seem that the decision to drop Senna and go for Busquets was the correct one.

And it’s because of that fiscal responsibility and, dare I say genius, that Arsene Wenger would never, EVER sell Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona with this new revelation. Barcelona still owe Arsenal for the transfers of Thierry Henry and Alex Hleb, as most deals aren’t paid in full cash, but are split up into smaller payments that allow clubs to buy more and worry about the consequences of their shopping sprees later. With Barcelona’s inability to pay their squad wages (and, if the numbers mean anything, a much-deeper financial crisis forming in Spain), a micro-payment deal for the beacon of our club simply isn’t going to happen. Wenger is too smart for that. He’s too smart to throw an asset away for money that may never come (unless the freaking Spanish government is sued for it 10 years from now). And that’s why Cesc Fabregas is going to stay.

Yup, i always said he has the potential to be great. Some nights he is a superstar and others he makes silly mistakes. When he was chosen for the national side, all the forum users were insulting him. Calling him a weak player, i defended him and look where he is now.

The World Cup final. He deserved more respect, he is proving all his doubters wrong.

Of course I was on his case, should i praise him 24/7 and are we not allowed to criticise players in our own team? I mean WTF?

You must be seeing things if it's all the FORUMS USERS HERE.

Ok Cantera. Criticize a player when he is not performing, but once he does start doing something useful, maintain you always defended him. I want to live in that world where that is possible? Can you send me directions to it?

I rekon there is very little chance we'll see Cesc on Sunday. I think Del Bosque will keep the same team, for obvious reasons. Pedro looked handy on the right there apart from his glory boy moment near the end. The only chance I think Cesc has, is if Spain go behind or game goes to extra time.

I think Arsenal and Wenger were hoping Cesc will have a good WC so that his price can go up, pity he couldnt make it into the starting 11.

I still maintain Cesc is a better option. Sure Cesc is not as defensively minded, but Spain haven't been scoring many goals but rather churning out results. However they aren't conceding many goals either. So it comes down to personal preference. I'd much prefer to see an attacking Spain than a defensive one who starves the opposition of possession, which is mighty affective but quite boring. Player for player Cesc is 10 times the player Limp Bizkits is.

You forgetting something here. Cesc... Fabregas... is...not... for.... SALE!!! What a dumb comment. Arsenal don't need the money and can afford to pay their player's wages unlike Barca.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Your comment shows signs of Wengeritis. Ignore the defence and attack, attack, attack. Not a good idea by any stretch of the imagination.

Edit: and I do remember you calling Busquets 'absolutely useless' and that he shouldn't be in the team on more than one occasion last season. But, this is the usual thing with you - although just pointing it out.
