Hey

Does anyone know how to Connect to the internet when window start up? like just as the window start up.. it connects to the internet? Or how to make the network and internet together..

Because before, When my network was connected, I was able to go on the internet, but now.. I have to connect to the internet by doing another connection.. which is kind of hard, because my internet does not really always connect..

Like, it will say.. trying to connect or something.. but never does.. so ja.. (the line always drop..)

You will have to elaborate. You really do not provide much info.

Sounds like the op is making use of a PPoE connection now?
Have you changed anything lately regarding your network connection? Did you create any dial-up type connections?
Like Ponder said you really need to give more info, including the exact error messages that you receive?
Also, keep sentences like the the last one out of your report in order to for us to better understand.

Well, I don't know whether it was an option or not..

But after I formatted the computer, the computer had to dail before it connects to the internet, normally, it's used with the network..

Like as soon as the network system is connected to the hub, then the internet works too, but now, I have to create an internet connection and then only does it connect to the internet...

(Do you know what I'm trying to say?)

Ja, You need to set your router to dial the connection automatically (take it off bridge mode) but if you want to use more then one account then its best to use dialup

are you talking about the option on the computer or on the router? because I don't have any information from the router, it's just a free one from telkom..

Access it via the web interface on 10.0.0.2 or 192.168.0.1 username and password is usually 'admin'

I'm rather lost.. How do you change setting on your router?

I mean I can't find anything buttons on my router at all O.O lost

I see.. now.. I used the 10.0.0.2

but it came up with alot of weird things.. I don't know what to do..

Um also, is it possible to make the wireless connection speed 108mbps and not 54? because my wireless can go that high, but it doesn't want to do it (I think it is the routers problem.. )

phone telkom customer care, since its their router

Whats the speed of your wireless card?

Well it's 108.. but it only connects at 54..

..phoning them..
sigh it's a waste of time, they probably don't even know what they are doing..

I'll find some other help somewhere else lol

sorry but I have a Billion so I wouldn't know how your router worked :)

Um.. I see.. sigh, oh well.. doesn't matter..

um.. I have come across another thingy.. I can log on to mixit PC.. and it can log on.. (Without connecting the connection...) but the thing is I can't use the internet explore to go on internet without doing it..

So basically my computer is connected to the internet, but my explores doesn't allow me to do anything unless I dial the connection..

I am guessing that it's the actual explorer and not my router?

It's the same for all of them.. like chrome, fire fox, opera and IE... like I don't know why.. mm.. I thought it might has something to do with the internet settings.. (If you know what I mean..)
