Dear Telkom Mobile,

It still feels like yesterday when I first took out the 10GB+10GB Internet Promo 5 data contract from the 8ta Store in Canal Walk. (I just realize it was almost four years ago!)

At the time, friends and colleagues discouraged me from joining 8ta, and suggested that I rather stay with MTN and Vodacom. However, I persisted, and today I can say that it was one of the best things I did in my life.

I recently bought a Huawei B593 LTE router from the Telkom Mobile shop in Cape Gate & was absolutely amazed by the fantastic speed of LTE on the Telkom Mobile network.

I realise that my 10GB+10GB data bundle is not enough anymore, and would really like to be offered the opportunity to upgrade my existing 10GB+10GB contract to a 20GB+20GB contract.

Can you please phone me and offer it to me?

I see it supports Telkom Mobile's 2300 LTE band and extremely excited about it.

Question is, would sony be bringing that specific model into RSA just for Telkom when all the other networks go for the other normal LTE version?

Oh I see. I did look there and saw the two different model numbers. But I see now D5833 supports both LTE networks. Thought the D5833 only does the funny bands while the other model is for the more mainstream LTE bands and FD. Sorry gogga.

It will be one of the first phones that I can use with LTE on Telkom Mobile's network.

Hey guys,I am keen on buying a prepaid handset but want a phone with 2.3ghz lte.Is the iphone and z3 compact the only phones with the lte band?Do any of the Huawei phones support 2.3ghz?thanx

Best is to check on GSMArena, they have every phone's specifications on their site + all LTE bands supported.

Thank you for phoning me today and discussing the possibility of offering us a bigger data bundle than the current 10GB+10GB deal.

After purchasing a LTE router and getting download speeds of 50Mbps, there is so much more that I want to watch in HD and download. :)

I know it's only discussions at this stage, but I seriously appreciate it and now I know that you are listening to our requests!

I have just put down the phone, so it might be a bit too early. :D

The request must go to Telkom Mobile's marketing team, who then decides what the pricing will be, if you can upgrade an existing contract, etc.

*Imagine we can do it over Christmas period, would be very very nice.
