Thought it would be nice to share our embarrassing stories where our culinary skills failed us...
I love cheese but it still needs to be sort of fresh. Things like Blue Cheese makes me nauseated. But many moons ago my wife gotten hold of a lot of Blue Cheese, I think a client of theirs gave it away. It was sitting in the fridge stinking up the place for a few days. It was my turn to cook and I thought, maybe this cheese will work in a sauce for the pasta? I thought maybe melting it would change the texture, taste and smell... It didn't. Suffice to say, it enhanced that delicious odour of unwashed feet! And was immediately fed to the trash bin!
