Hi PBCool

I applied for a SADV package over a week ago. Installation was complete before I applied, just waiting on the details to configure my router.

I have been notified that Cool Ideas is waiting for confirmation from SADV that the line is active. Does it usually take this long to get this done? There just seems to be some finger pointing going on between Cool Ideas and SADV.

Ticket - #COOL-20180502-99137

Thanks

Sure will check it out, SADV are supposed to notify us but often don't.

Who was your previous ISP?

CrystalWeb. It's been a while that an ISP went and helped me out at 9pm on a Friday Night; following up and making sure things are sorted on a Saturday. So far so good, support is nice and the ISP is responsive with a working product.

When i try upload stuff to google drive im getting rather slow speeds around 20mbps on average, is there a reason for this.

I will download and i get my full 100mbps.

I have posted a screenshot with the speedtest even to google and its not the greatest.

Untitled.png

Speedtest done on http://speedtest.googlefiber.net/

But when i do a local speedtest in terms of MYBB or speedtest.net to CISP i get 100mbps

Google peers locally so it depends how they manage their sessions, if you are getting 100Mbps upload to the handover which seems you are, it is managed by Google from there.

Im getting my 100 down but not up and yeah the local handover is normally why i was always so fond of them

PBCool Can’t you increase the max limit on your queues for 100mbps ( Vumatel Aerial ) service just a tiny bit. Keep getting 99mbps on speed test. Hehe. It’s a mental barrier and doesn’t work well when showing off my internet to friends
